In iTunes, a very useful feature is the File » Show Duplicates menu item. As expected by its name, you can use this feature to help weed out duplicates from your iTunes library. However, many people (myself included) have different versions of songs, remixes and such, which will show up as duplicates when using this feature. The solution is to hold down the option key prior to selecting this menu item. When you do, Show Duplicates changes to Show Exact Duplicates. In this mode, iTunes shows only true duplicates, and not remixes or alternate versions.

Oh this is so nice. I can get rid of a few (bunch) tunes that are replicants in so many ways.
Notley Hawkins (aka 10thavenue) has lived in Missouri his whole life. Born and raised in Columbia Missouri he studied painting and drawing at Columbia College with Sid Larson, a student of Thomas Hart Benton. He attended the University of Missouri in Columbia for his Masters degree where he worked with noted artist and cartoonist Frank Stack (aka Foolbert Sturgeon). Notley did additional studies at the prestigious Skowhegan School in Maine. He has also held residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and the Ucross Foundation. His work is in The State Historical Society of Missouri’s collection and The Ashby-Hodge Gallery of American Art’s collection as well as many private collections. Although Notley never took a course in photography, he is firmly entrenched in the photographic arts now. After growing disinterested in painting, he took up photography in 2005 and is now an avid shooter. He takes pictures of all things Missouri including people, places, events and landscapes. Mr. Hawkins just completed his second solo photography exhibition at the Ashby-Hodge Gallery of American Art at Central Methodist University in Fayette Missouri. His next show is scheduled for January 2010 at the PS Gallery in Columbia Missouri.

I think Apple (and others) are about to send Cable TV and Tivo a clear message…your time is almost up. The Web 2.0 world is about to kick the door in and escort the old methodology to pasture. And I think it is going to happen pretty quickly. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Now I’ve heard a lot of complaints about the Apple TV, and plenty of skeptics who think the device doesn’t hit the right technical marks, but I di

Don%u2019t know about you, but I find browsing a list of album names somewhat uninspiring, to say the least. One of the big attractions of a physical album is the beautiful packaging and aesthetic appeal, something that%u2019s sorely missed with the digital equivalent.
More reason to switch to that Mac tool? This is a very cool album browser. Very cool. Very cool.
