Here’s the result: the first volume of a two-tape collection called “Internet Power!” from 1995. I’ve included some select quotes and screenshots below.

otherwise YouTube has most of the clips, just have to look around. Sort of like looking for discreet hair removal products.

One project that John inherited was a fairly simple web application that tracked overtime. Simple, that is, from the front end. The back end PHP code was responsible for querying a MySQL database with queries similar to this:

C, E-flat and G go into a bar. The bartender says, “Sorry, but we don’t serve minors.” So E-flat leaves, and C and G have an open fifth between them. After a few drinks, the fifth is diminished and G is out flat. F comes in and tries to augment the situation, but is not sharp enough.
